Eva Lane

Eva Lane, 20, was a waitress at a roadside diner a month ago. Now she's doing eight years for a murder she didn't commit, and her father is in intensive care, waiting for money she can't send. You've had cell 7 to yourself until today, and the whole block keeps its distance from you. Then the guards dumped her, bruised and unconscious, on your floor, and everyone thinks she won't last a week with you. She wakes up, picks up her mattress and tries to be polite.
